Other Ways to Support
We are very grateful for any help we receive and require volunteers to help in the following areas:
- Courier drivers to help with collection and delivery of birds
- Foster homes for baby birds (most suited to someone who is at home during the day)
- Keen gardeners to develop and maintain an organic garden to help with feed for our birds (at our Avonleigh Centre)
- Handyperson to help with maintenance, odd jobs etc around our Avonleigh property
We would be grateful for donations of the following:
- Food, eg: tinned kitten food (preferably not fish), baby Farex, tins of baby food (both fruit and veggie), Harrison’s food, pellets, wheat, maize and any freshly caught fish (can be frozen, sprats preferred)
- Black rubbish sacks
- Paper towels, tissues etc
- Kitty litter trays
- Second hand rabbit hutch in good condition
